“Rehearsals for the summer production of “Skrabble” are well on the way, an all new innovative concept created by drama director Mark Ashton, will allow each academy the opportunity to explore a range of new theatre styles and techniques. Each academy will stage a very different show, directed in a very different way but all using the same hilarious narration. Be prepared for a roller coaster of emotion...

Old Skelmersdale's Plastersine Academy opened in September 2008 due to the wealth of interest in the local area. Since opening the academy has grown quickly and is now home to around 40 creative young students all working towards their big summer show, 'Books' set for the stage in June.
The academy has a good range of girls and boys from 4 to 15 and has a vibrant and exciting atmosphere with so many bright young children with lots of new ideas.

The Plastersine Academy has just opened a new group at Banks Leisure Centre in Southport, the session is on a Monday night at 4.30pm till 6.30pm, now is a great opportunity to register while places are still available.OTHER NEWS
Other news is that we have just secured a 12 week contract in Wigan which is allowing us to work with 50 young people on a range of performing arts projects. It’s Arts Council Money and it’s at St James' Primary in Orrell.
