During their time with The Plastersine Team, each student will benefit from professional training in each part of the performing arts spectrum.

They will learn and discover the more technical sides of theatre from make up design to sound and lighting and then uncover some of the trade secrets behind the more performance aspects of the subject. The students will then have the chance to display their new skills in a small showcase at the end of the course.

PLASTERSINE STAGE SCHOOLS

The Plastersine Team are dedicated to making sure that each student maximises their full potential during their time with us and will endeavour to make the course both educational and enjoyable.

These are courses that will run in conjunction with the holiday periods throughout the academic year. A fun and intensive workshop designed for teaching young people every aspect of performing arts over a number of days.

The workshops will be varied in length depending on the holiday period. It will give young people the opportunity to channel their energy and creative ability into something positive and fulfilling.

In January 2008, The Plastersine Group came to Skelmersdale and launched their first of 5 performing arts academies in Ashurst Community Centre. It was set up to provide a wide range of performing arts and live theatre opportunities including music,singing, dance and drama to people from 4 to 16 years of age.
